Our Annual Riverlot Clean-up event will take place:

10:00 am | Saturday 12 May, 2012

Join us at 10 am at the parking lot adjacent to the Upper Riverlot (along Poundmaker Road south of Sturgeon Valley Road) on Saturday 12 May for our annual Riverlot clean-up.  Although gloves and garbage bags will be supplied, please come suitably dressed for the event.

The STANSKI Family Fun Day Loppet 2012 will take place Feb 25 at the Special Olympics course (to be set up in Kingswood Park and Riverlot 56), two days prior to the main event.

The Special Olympics Canada Winter Games 2012 take place Feb 27-Mar 4 in and around St. Albert, with sponsorship from the City. Kingswood Park and Riverlot 56 are hosting the cross country skiing event with assistance from STANSKI. It may still be possible to register to volunteer, according to an article on STANSKI’s blog.

We have just received a new brochure from the Government of Alberta, a site guide to the Riverlot. Download the PDF version here or from the Resources page. The new design will be printed and distributed from August.

The Riverlot 56 Natural Area Society will be participating in the St. Albert Record Breaking Picnic.
